Behind the mic
Raised in Hampshire by a Scottish family, Robbie James is an award winning TV, Radio Presenter and DJ. Robbie currently presents the drivetime show across the UK on Aspen Waite Radio, and fronts Aspen Waite Radio Xtra's Sports Coverage.
Robbie also works with BBC Sport & 5 Live Sports Extra as a presenter, commentator and reporter and is regularly seen presenting documentaries, sporting occasions and corporate events, working with the likes of Sky, Scottish Rugby (a stadium capacity of 67,000), Church of England, Hampshire Cricket (a stadium capacity of 25,000), The Skills Network and Ciroc.
By night, Robbie's often found around the UK DJing Student Unions, Corporate Events and sporting afterparties, playing to audiences of over 2,000 people.
Robbie is also an ambassador for Naomi House & Jacksplace (children's hospices), and The Standing Ovation Project (raising the self-esteem and confidence of children through the creative arts).
Following a background of playing cricket for Hampshire, Robbie travelled north to study Economics at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, before moving back down south to pursue his career in Radio & TV.
